Anthropic makes Auto Mode default in Claude Code

Starting August 14, Anthropic will make Auto Mode the default in Claude Code for Pro, Max, and Team plans. Anthropic says its classifier caught 89 percent of dangerous commands in tests, compared with 13.6 percent for human reviewers.
